ABOUT ME
My career in golf course management is built on a lifelong passion for the game, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to excellence. As a 2-handicap golfer and turfgrass professional, I bring both a player’s perspective and a superintendent’s understanding to create exceptional playing conditions.
After studying turfgrass management at Auburn University, I began my career at East Lake Golf Club in 2016, progressing from Assistant-in-Training to Lead Assistant Superintendent. In 2022, I became Golf Course Superintendent at Troy Country Club, expanding my experience in leadership, budgeting, and long-term course management.
I returned to East Lake as Golf Course Superintendent in 2023, where I have helped lead the club through significant course improvements and the demands of hosting the TOUR Championship each year. While championship golf requires a great level of preparation, my focus is on maintaining those same high standards every day for our members, guests, and players.
I believe great golf courses are built through strong leadership, sound agronomic practices, attention to detail, and a team that takes pride in its work. My goal is to continually raise the standard of excellence while creating the best experience for everyone who enjoys the property.
